NanoTech adds to its NAB 4K Streaming Interop-Demo List

NanoTech Entertainment (OTCPINK: NTEK), a pioneer in bringing the 4K Ultra HD experience to consumers and businesses, announced today that it has now expanded its NAB 4K Streaming presence to include Ericsson, the world leader in communications technology and services, and a provider of award-winning TV and media solutions and services for content owners, broadcasters and TV service providers.

At Stand SU721 Ericsson will present what the future holds for TV, and demonstrate its unique position across the entire value chain, ranging from content acquisition, exchange and distribution, to media management, playout & OTT services, efficient delivery networks and enabling the future of TV in 4K Ultra HD.

One of the UHDTV demonstrations at Ericsson will be the managed services showcase of acquisition, encoding and seamless delivery of 4K OTT streaming content to consumers. This is a services proposition for broadcasters. This demonstration will include using NanoTech's award-winning Nuvola NP-1™ 4K Ultra HD streaming media player. The Nuvola NP-1 can also be seen in action at the Akamai, Elemental Technologies and Ittiam booths this year at NAB, clearly showcasing that the infrastructure and end-point devices are now ready to deliver a massive amount of 4K content to consumers' homes.

"The Nuvola NP-1 has proven itself to be a world-class device allowing for providers to take advantage of the rapidly evolving streaming and compression technologies in delivering 4K content to the home," noted Aaron Taylor, Senior VP of Sales & Marketing for NanoTech. "Ericsson is the market leader in IP video and focused on developing great end-to-end solutions for content owners, broadcasters, and pay-TV service providers. Demonstrating our interoperability will enlighten you with the Future TV experience consumers have come to expect from today's internet-based content distribution networks."
