K+L Laminators is expanding into a new 3,500 sq ft unit adjacent to its existing site in Hove and readiness for the delivery of an additional Polar N115 guillotine with stacklift, jogger and pile turner in January.
"We need this additional cutting capacity to ease the work load on the existing Polar. We like the Polar build quality, reliability and ease of use and Heidelberg is a company you can trust, with the best machines and excellent back up. This technology is easy to use and is value for money. We have had other makes in the past but since owning a Polar we have never looked back," says managing director Darren Miles.
The company handles a huge range of work, from business cards to B1 sheets and including splitting covers, shelling folders, cutting 4pp, 6pp and more.
The materials handling around the cutter will speed up operations, particularly with large sheet sized work, and it also takes the strain out of cutting, protecting the well-being of K +L's staff.
