Delhi-based label printer Excel Graphics recently invested in a Rotoflex VSI 330 slitter rewinder with a control system and stroboscope inspection and Rotoflex's advanced Missing Matrix and Label Detection system. Rotoflex's Indian distributor FIG led the sale and installation.
Their new VSI will enable them to count and detect labels even with different repeat lengths lane to lane as well as detect flags and place any defects accurately on the splice table for correction. The sophisticated gated count system ensures 100% accurate label count while the auto set-up feature reduces set-up time and complexity for the operator.
The company also invested in their first narrow web press, a Mark Andy Performance Series P5.
