Highcon presents agile production with digital finishing at drupa 2020

At drupa 2020, Highcon® (Hall 9, Stand C50) will show how far the digital revolution has already progressed. At its third appearance at the world's largest print trade fair, the manufacturer will be presenting field-tested products for folding box and corrugated board production that can cope with a wide range of requirements in terms of speed, format and substrate.

On display will be the new representatives of the Highcon platforms Euclid and Beam, the Euclid 5 and Beam 2.
The star of the stand will undoubtedly be the highly anticipated Highcon Beam 2C for the corrugated segment.
It is already in operation worldwide and has proven its worth with leading suppliers Orora Fibre Packaging Australasia and THIMM Group in meeting emerging customer demands for digital finishing.

The Highcon Euclid and Beam digital die-cutting and creasing machines are operating in locations around the world and are helping to ensure that digital finishing is gradually becoming the industry standard. Some Highcon customers have already purchased a second machine to meet growing customer demand for fast delivery of products for campaigns and promotions, while also benefiting from the reduced need for working capital that comes with digital finishing.
Taking customer feedback into account, Highcon has significantly improved the efficiency, reliability, quality and predictability of its technology. Highcon also continues to invest in its Euclid platform. One of the most striking developments of the new Euclid series is the adoption of the user interface of the beam machines. Their modern and user-friendly appearance reflects the flexibility of digital die-cutting and creasing solutions.
And digital technology is by definition flexible: the laser cut depth can be set to full cut, half cut, perforation or etching as required, the creasing height can be adjusted to the substrate thickness and the stripping setting to the layout. Seven years of field testing have resulted in significant improvements to Highcon technology, as reflected in the 35 percent increase in the number of orders produced per year and machine between 2016 and 2019, many of which were delivered to major brands.
