Customers can pick up orders around the clock
Klartext GmbH offers a new service to its customers and business partners: A 24/7 Smart Terminal from Kern enables a secure and contact-free transfer of goods around the clock, seven days a week. "We are glad that we have the terminal in use", says managing director Michael Hamel.
The family business produces a wide range of printed matter. The idea of offering customers an automated pick-up facility around the clock had been in the minds of those in charge for a long time. So they contacted Kern GmbH to find out more about the 24/7 Smart Terminals and found the right solution. Since mid-February, the terminal has been used in the entrance area of Klartext GmbH. The software installed in the terminal stands for security, reliability and easy handling: When ordering, the customer only has to indicate that he wants to receive the goods via the collection station. He will be informed by e-mail or SMS about the receipt of his order. To pick up the goods, the customer is given a PIN or QR code with which he identifies himself: "The system impresses with its simple operation and is very well received by our customers," says Michael Hamel.
The size and number of the individual compartments have been individually adapted to the wishes of Klartext GmbH. Thus, printed products in all sizes can be stored in them. The software is open to suppliers and guarantees maximum security, as only the recipient can open the corresponding parcel compartment of the terminal. This makes parcel reception as flexible as possible.
