At this year's Labelexpo Americas, RotoMetrics (booth 129) will be showcasing both new and renewed products that illustrate RotoMetrics' unsurpassed speed, reliability, and innovation in the industry.
AccuStar® LifeTM flexible dies will be displayed, along with examples of continuing advances in surface treatments for flexible dies. These products support converters' need for reliable and long-lasting cutting solutions for abrasive materials and aggressive adhesive.
The new through-hardened, machine-finished RD300 solid die will debut at the show. RD300 is a superior solution for cutting disposable medical substrates, dust-sensitive labels and tags, in-mold labels, synthetic gasket materials, Velcro, Tyvek and electronic components. The RD300's strength and durability comes from its superior high chromium D2 steel grade body along with a specialized heat-treating process that provides a full-depth hardness of 58-60 Rockwell.
RotoMetrics will be displaying new features to the popular Pin Eject die for advanced waste ejection applications. The Pin Eject solution offers a positive method of preventing build-up of small diecut slugs, resulting in broken cavity blades, and also assists in the removal of these parts from the converted web. The Pin Eject solution was designed for challenging cavity sizes as small as .0625" (1.6mm).
Finally, RotoMetrics will introduce its new Anodized print cylinder, which rounds out the complete print cylinder portfolio. The Anodized Print Cylinder, positioned as an economic alternative between Standard and Hardcase grades, offers the same precise tolerances as the Standard but has added surface protection for improved scratch resistance and protection from corrosion.
