Yes, MPN and Dicar Inc. recently demonstrated the ability to reduce tonnage and improve edge quality while die cutting .080" - .100" Styrene.
Our customer typically used a standard .937" die, die cutting onto a steel plate, however, when changing to a new rule design and cutting into a Dicar Pad tonnage went down and quality of the edge went up dramatically.
