Recently the manufacturer Valloy introduced a brand new digital production line for the production of roll labels. The concept of being able to produce high-quality labels on a wide variety of materials with a relatively low investment convinced Holger Grundmann to add BIZPRESS 13 R and Duoblade SX to the portfolio of Grafische Systeme GmbH. This is intended primarily for companies whose production volume of roll labels is rather small. However, it is also
conceivable to use them for flexible small-volume production to relieve the burden on larger systems.
The BIZPRESS 13 R is a toner-based full-colour printing system in which rolls with a width between 210 mm and 330 mm can be processed. The maximum print format is 304 mm wide and 1200 mm long, the maximum speed is 7.3 meters per minute. The modern LED printing technology ensures best print quality with a resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi. The BIZPRESS 13 R is equipped with a special low-temperature fusing system to which the toner used is matched. This offers an almost unlimited choice of printing substrates made of paper, foil or special materials. Printing on thermal paper or PVC is also possible without any problems. No pre-treatment of material is necessary, an ionisation unit and an antistatic unit are standard equipment. The BIZPRESS 13 R is equipped with an automatic web tension control, a roll end sensor, a splicing table and air tensioning mandrels at the unwind and rewind. A web edge control is offered as an option. The intuitive software allows the simultaneous processing of several jobs and has functions for colour control and cost calculation. An upgrade to print variable data is possible.
For further processing of printed labels the finishing system DUOBLADE SX is offered. Punching is done with a digital plotter with up to 4 servo-controlled cutting tools at a maximum speed of 9.8 m/min. Perforation is also possible. In addition, the DUOBLADE SX is equipped with a longitudinal cutter and a laminating unit. The unwinding and double rewinding are individually electronically controlled and have air mandrels. Web edge control and vacuum table ensure exact web guidance. A sheet cutter is available as an option.
With their compact design, both the BIZPRESS 13 R and the DUOBLADE SX require very little space. The combination of both machines gives the user a complete label production for small and medium runs with professional equipment for industrial production.
