FINAT Award: Three first places for Schreiner

The 2020 FINAT Awards ceremony was a complete success for Schreiner Group. The high-tech company from the Munich area was able to convince the jury of its products in three categories: Schreiner MediPharm's Autoinjector Label and Covert Hologram Seal as well as a translucent Color Laser Film with additional function by Schreiner ProTech each received a first prize. The awards are presented annually by the European Self-Adhesive Label Industry Association (FINAT), which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.

Schreiner Group took home three awards at this year's FINAT Label Competition. The expression "take home" 2020 is not quite correct: For the first time in the history of FINAT, the award ceremony was held without guests and audience, but was streamed live online. Thanks to Corona, this was an unusual setting for all participants, but nevertheless very nice and memorable. Schreiner Group was represented by Dr. Josef Adelsberger, Team Leader of Research and Development, who was also present as the winner via camera.
On the one hand, Schreiner MediPharm's Autoinjector label for TEVA was awarded a prize in the "Pharmaceutical" category. This label, which is particularly protected against abrasion, was developed by Schreiner Group's business unit for TEVA, the globally active Israeli drug manufacturer, in order to keep vital application and product information permanently legible. Already in 2019, the label also won the TLMI Award. In addition, Schreiner MediPharm's multifunctional Covert Hologram Seal also won a first prize in the "Security" category. This provides secure, irreversible proof of tampering for pharmaceutical packaging by means of an initially hidden holographic effect and also has hidden anti-counterfeiting features.
Another award went to a translucent color laser foil from Schreiner ProTech. It received first prize in the "Industrial" category. It is a partially translucent marking solution that enables backlighting of customer-specific lettering or symbols and, thanks to its double-sided adhesive properties, also performs the function of joining technology in a component. It combines the positive properties of the classic Color Laser Film (CLF) with the advantages of translucency and the properties of Schreiner ProTech's joining solutions.
For CEO Roland Schreiner, the awards once again underline the family-owned company's great innovative strength: "I am very pleased about the awards, as they show that our products excel in a wide variety of areas - a great incentive for all employees."
