Something up your sleeve?

Enter the annual competition that recognizes outstanding contributions to sleeve labeling

Entries are now being accepted for the 2022 AWA International Sleeve Label Awards – the competition which, for the last seven years, has annually documented the ground-breaking achievements that sleeve labeling has brought to today’s packaging industry.
Recognizing quality at all production levels
Entries will be accepted from printers/converters and brand owners/end users which demonstrate quality and originality in the design, production, and end-use of all types of sleeve label. Judged by an international panel of industry experts, the AWA International Sleeve Label Awards feature four main categories – heat shrink TD sleeve labels; roll-fed MD shrink sleeves; stretch sleeves; and a special category recognizing a notable environmental/sustainability contribution. At their discretion, the judges may also award a ‘best in show’ trophy.
Sleeve label industry specialists
Competition sponsors AWA Alexander Watson Associates, specialist market researchers and consultants to the broad packaging and converting industries, have focused strongly on sleeve label market developments, and host the leading annual sleeve labeling conference, which alternates between Europe and the USA.
The winners of the AWA International Sleeve Label Awards will be presented at the AWA & TLMI Sleeve Label Seminar 2022, on 11-12th of September, co-located with Labelexpo Americas in Chicago, parallel to two other industry seminars focusing on label release liner and narrow web pouches.
Open now for entries
The AWA International Sleeve Label Awards are now an annual feature of the label industry’s calendar. AWA Alexander Watson Associates’ website already features details of the 2022 competition, including the entry form, which potential participants can access online . The entries remain open until 24th of August 2022.
