Leibinger presents new cloud service at EMPACK
Leibinger, the global innovation leader in labelling systems, will present its new cloud service Leibinger® Connect at EMPACK in Zurich from 25-26 January 2023. Visitors will also learn how best-before dates, coding and other markings can be printed on a wide variety of materials without errors, with good adhesion and at maximum speed.
"The requirements for labelling products are increasing, and at the same time manufacturers are naturally interested in ensuring that this production step is carried out with as little effort as possible. Leibinger is a specialist in this. The new, digital cloud service ensures transparency and process reliability," says Alexander Deuchert, Head of Product Innovations.
What does the new cloud service Leibinger® Connect offer? All information about the printers is clearly summarised in the dashboard. This allows daily tasks to be planned in advance and implemented efficiently. An intelligent early warning system helps to carry out maintenance work according to schedule and to avoid unexpected downtimes. Data for performance analysis and possible production optimisation based on corresponding key figures show possibilities for increasing efficiency. Finally, Leibinger® Connect enables the integration of coding and marking systems into modern Industry 4.0 environments and intelligent networking of the physical and digital worlds.
Good adhesion guaranteed
In the production process, printing on glass or plastics requires special ink properties to ensure good adhesion and readability. When choosing the right ink, Leibinger provides detailed advice and creates print samples on the individual customer products on site or even afterwards.
The right printing solution
Leibinger has different marking systems in its range, but what they all have in common is the innovative printing technology, such as the Sealtronic® nozzle seal, which ensures that the ink does not dry in the print heads.
Customers who have more interfaces, special functions, higher speeds or other requirements can find the optimal printer for them in the Basic Line, Universal Line and High Speed Line at EMPACK.
