Coveris wins 'Label of the Year 2014' at UK Packaging Awards

Leading global packaging manufacturer Coveris™, have once again demonstrated their expertise and innovation in print with their highly coveted victory of the Label of the Year award at last night's ninth annual Packaging Awards.

With some the biggest names in the industry having come together to honor the very best in packaging quality and performance, the annual UK Packaging Awards, held at London's Park Lane Hilton, culminated in a spectacular win for Coveris, who celebrated their success with the victory of the Label of the Year award.

As one of the industry's highest accolades, Coveris received the award for their entry of Faith in Nature's stunning collection of digitally printed labels for their natural range of hair and skincare products.

Demonstrating their advanced capabilities in print, color management and process, the award pays tribute to Coveris' expertise in labels, as well as digital print, with the former Paragon business having been at the forefront of the digital revolution throughout its development and recent growth. Commenting on the win, Rick Smith, Senior Category Manager for Coveris' Ambient division said "testament to our heritage in labels, this award provides the ultimate in industry recognition for our UK business, and allows us to demonstrate that through our customer-focused model, we have led and continue to lead the way for innovation, quality and service in the UK labels market."

Adding to last night's victory, Coveris also celebrated a further success in the labels category having been highly commended, alongside Asda, for the entry of their Extra Special sausage packs, featuring Coveris' innovative fully removable linerless label system - Slidewrap™.

Having also celebrated a recent win at the Flexotech awards in partnership with the Apex Group, and a number of pioneering product innovations set to launch imminently across Coveris' UK Board and Films divisions, Coveris looks set to continue to shape future of the packaging industry for years to come.
