Canon Colorado 1650 and UV gel ink certified by Avery Dennison

The Canon Colorado 1650 roll-to-roll large format printer and Canon UV Gel 460 ink have been certified by leading media manufacturer Avery Dennison as part of its ICS warranty program. High standards of quality and durability for vinyl prints from the Canon Colorado 1650 are now certified.

Canon has worked closely with Avery Dennison since the introduction of the Canon Colorado 1650. Customers who combine Canon UV Gel 460 inks with Avery Dennison media or laminates have the assurance that printed outdoor applications will last up to eight years and indoor prints up to 11 years.
"With Canon UV Gel, we have developed a breakthrough technology that combines the benefits of traditional ink technologies such as eco-solvent, latex and UV in a unique ink set," says Dirk Brouns, Vice President Large Format Graphics at Canon Production Printing. "We are proud to receive the ICS warranty. This once again sets Canon an industry benchmark for uncompromising quality at high production speeds".
Paul Roba, Avery Dennison's OEM Relationship Manager: "We are delighted to extend our extensive ICS warranty program with two Canon products".
