High quality, fast printing SureColor SC-P900 and SC-P700 inspire photographers and artists
New Epson photo and fine art printers for professionals with an eye for design

With the SureColor SC-P700 (print width up to A3+, 329 mm) and SureColor SC-P900 (print width up to A2+, 432 mm) Epson introduces two new, improved and easy-to-use photo printers. The devices have been developed to meet the needs of photographers, artists, photo studios and laboratories as well as ambitious amateur photographers. Both printers also stand out due to their attractive shape, which differs from the usual printer design. With this, Epson follows its philosophy of producing photo printers that produce prints of great quality while meeting high aesthetic demands. In addition, both devices have become even faster. Thanks to the "Carbon Black" mode, the SureColor printers achieve particularly high black densities, which the newly developed UltraChrome Pro10 inks with "Black-Enhanced Overcoat Technology" (BEO) make possible. The SureColor SC-P700 and SC-P900 will be available in DACH from April 2020 (P700) and May 2020 (P900) in qualified specialist shops.
Important product features of the Epson SureColor SC-P700 and SC-P900:
Switching between "Photo Black" and "Matte Black" inks is possible without flushing the ink system.
Thanks to "Carbon Black" mode, a maximum black density of up to 2.95 on suitable media is possible.
The colour space expansion in the blue range ensures an even more realistic reproduction of images.
The new Auto Sheet Feeder (ASF) system ensures trouble-free feeding of fine art media.
Borderless printing in all common formats
Three different paper paths guarantee the reliable transport of a variety of media with different surfaces at thicknesses of up to 1.5 mm. The minimum size is 10 x 15 cm. Both devices also process panorama formats.
The printers are even better encapsulated against dust and dirt.
The SC-P700 comes standard with a spindle-free roller unit, for the SC-P900 it is available as an option.
Both have the smallest footprint in their class and are also the lightest units.
Thanks to their attractive appearance, the units fit seamlessly into modern laboratories, studios, studios and workrooms.
A 4.3-inch diagonal LCD touch screen with configurable user interface can be operated even when wearing cotton gloves.
Newly developed software package Epson Media Installer: for easy installation of material profiles
Improved version of the Epson Print Layout software: Simplifies and improves the layout and the application of color management to the images to be printed.
Frank Schenk, Head of Commercial & Industrial Printing at Epson Deutschland GmbH, says: "With these printers, we are addressing everyone who works creatively and appreciates powerful hardware. Both the SureColor SC-P700 and the SC-P900 manage to successfully combine an attractive form with many helpful functions. Thanks to their deep blacks and extended color space, the prints look particularly realistic. All components of these Epson devices come from one source: hardware, software, inks and print heads. With the new printers of the SC-P series we open up even more possibilities for all creative people!
