In-depth information just a click away for the Sign & Graphic imaging Industry in the Middle East
With competitive technologies, emerging opportunities and trends evolving at a very fast pace printers need to watch those and implement new solutions as soon as possible in order to stay ahead of the competition. International Expo Consults (IEC), part of Dubai-based conglomerate Falak Holding and the host to the Sign & Graphic Imaging Exhibition (SGI) in Dubai, plans to establish and launch the 'SGI Resource center' for the Industry.
IEC today announces that they have partnered with Global Print Monitor, the worldwide trade magazine for Print, Publishing & Packaging Industry News, Comments and Analysis, to provide a free to access news hub at www.Signageresource.com that will specifically cater to the Signage industry in the Middle East. The latest information on industry trends, launches, technology, services and key insights on printers, inks, media, digital signage, software, applications and more will be available via the Resource center.
Commenting on the partnership Abdul Rahman Falaknaz, Chairman of IEC says, "SGI is an event we launched 18 years ago. It is the only event of this scope catering to the Sign & Graphic Imaging industry in the Middle East. We are proud to be the sole platform catering to this major industry. It is our policy, constantly to strive to offer all players in this industry â printers and manufacturers alike â a platform via SGI Dubai enabling them to progress business and perform outstandingly in their respective markets. The SGI resource center is yet another step in that direction."
States Sharif Rahman, CEO, IEC, "SGI aims to be a gateway for all players in this industry to stay ahead and on top of the latest developments. We are very excited to be partnering with Global Print Monitor on this effort. It will be a guide to global trends; news and latest updates on technology where businesses have access to first-hand information that will significantly benefit them and add value to the industry at large. We invite our associates, exhibitors and visitors to visit the site and experience a first-hand view on what's possible in this industry."
Commenting on the new alliance, Sabine A. Slaughter, Co-Founder, Managing Editor and Publisher, Global Print Monitor says, "This strategic alliance with IEC will build on our momentum that readers all over the world have experienced over the last years. Our fast-changing industry requires printers to keep themselves up to date on the latest innovations and developments in order to evolve as communication service providers. Printers and print service providers nowadays cannot be defined as pure printers anymore. Print and its processes, services as well as results and output are part of the huge communication portfolio that marketers and brands require. Print cannot be seen as a single industry anymore. In turn this affects printers as they are seen as communication consultants by their clients. Global Print Monitor with its mix of latest news, in-depth analysis and comments caters to that requirement. Our partnership with IEC enables print service providers in the Middle East to access a wide scope of news and background stories enabling them to make sound business decisions that further their success in their markets. Readers, manufacturers and printers alike, can submit their stories and press releases to the SGI Resource center via the contact us link."
IEC will host the 18th edition of the Sign & Graphic Imaging Exhibition (SGI) in Dubai UAE from 11-13 January 2015 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Over 400 exhibitors from 30 countries and over 10,000 trade visitors are expected to participate at the 2015 edition of the show. This is the most anticipated event of the year in the MEASA region (Middle East Africa and South Asia) reflecting the successful history of creating a great platform for exhibitors and visitors in the signage, digital signage, retail signage solutions, outdoor media, screen and digital printing industries.
