SureColor SC-V7000 completes Epson's portfolio for signage, PoS and interior design applications
The new Epson SureColor SC-V7000 delivers high print quality on a wide variety of media.
With the new Epson SureColor SC-V7000, print providers are expanding their portfolio to include services for the UV signage and advertising market. The new Epson UV printer reliably delivers high quality prints on a wide range of media despite its fast operating mode. The printer has been designed for use in businesses that want high throughput at low operating costs without compromising on quality.
The SureColor SC-V7000 uses an Epson micro-piezo print head and a newly developed set of 10 inks including grey, red, white and a clear ink. This combination enables the printer to reproduce even the most difficult spot and corporate colours accurately. With the now comprehensive range of eco-solvent, resin and UV printing systems, Epson offers solutions for almost all applications in the signage, PoS and interior design sectors. The SureColor SC-V7000 will be available from November 2020 from all qualified specialist dealers.
A 4-zone vacuum system is standard on the press, so that operators only occupy the area required for the current print job. Other features such as an ioniser and media positioning pins ensure greater ease of use, efficiency and productivity. Epson's Edge Print RIP software, together with the UV flatbed controller, further accelerates printing and ensures reproducible production of high-quality prints. The UV flatbed printer with its working area of up to 2.5 x 1.25 m prints directly onto a variety of materials up to 80 mm thick. Printable materials with the new Epson are acrylic, polycarbonate, PVC, Alu-Dibond, glass, metal, polyester, foam boards, styrene, wood and stone.
