Betsy Benn was launched in 2010, selling through major online retailers and marketplaces like notonthehighstreet.com and Etsy which has earnt the company many awards including notonthehighstreet Entrepreneur of the year, Best New Product and Best Customer Service at the prestigious Make Awards.
The Platinum 1216 was purchased from International Graphic Supplies who are a Monmouthshire based machinery supplier and the exclusive Platinum UV Printer distributor for UK and Ireland.
The Platinum 1216 is an eight-colour (CMYK, LC, LM White and Varnish) flatbed LED-UV printer with integrated vacuum bed, printing on media sizes up to 1200 x 1600mm on a wide variety of flexible and solid materials up to 100mm thick.
Installed in early October for a £26,000 investment, the new machine expands the Cheltenham operation’s portfolio to bring a number of its previously outsourced personalised printing jobs in-house.
The Platinum series of UV Printers starts with the Platinum 9060 which has an impressive maximum imaging height of 350 mm and 900 x 600 mm image area. Ideal for anyone looking to enter short run packaging.
For the wide format print market Platinum UV Printers range from the 1216 (1200 x 1600mm image area) up to the Platinum 1325 (1300 x 2500 mm image area).
And for the banner and signage market the Platinum 3200 Eco Solvant roll feed printer (3200 mm image width).
IGS supply all their printers with Nazdar inks, which deliver high print density for strong, vibrant prints.

Lead times were usually 5 days now we can go as far as to offer an express service that dispatches same-day or within 24 hours.”
