Nyala: best in class for 10 years

The Nyala flatbed printer from swissQprint has been leading the European sales statistics in its class for a decade. In this period, over 650 machines have found satisfied customers. And in January 2025, the Nyala transitioned to its 5th generation.

The Nyala flatbed printer clearly offers exactly the right overall package: a combination of quality, productivity and reliability with a wide range of applications that together generates a high return on investment. This model once again topped last year’s European sales statistics in the category ‘UV flatbed/hybrid printers >60” (152.4 cm) wide in the 130,000 – 650,000 EUR price segment’, as confirmed by the Geneva-based market research institute Infosource. And this for the tenth time in a row.
Modularity contributes to success
Nyala has a 3.2×2 meter flatbed and, like every swissQprint machine, a modular design for great versatility, flexibility and efficiency: Alongside custom ink configurations, users can choose among various add-on options. Like a 3.2 meter roll to roll option and, building on that, a dual roll option for maximum productivity with narrow rolls.
Proven many times over
System reliability is evident not least in the 36-month factory warranty that swissQprint offers. Moreover, certified high energy efficiency and low maintenance requirements keep operating costs at a minimum.
More than 650 European users have invested in a Nyala flatbed printer over the last ten years. Counting since the model’s launch in 2012, there are well over 1000 of them on the global market. “We are grateful for the trust our customers have placed in us over all these years,” emphasises Kilian Hintermann, CEO of swissQprint.
Since January 2025, the 5th-generation Nyala offers ten freely configurable colour channels for yet more versatility. Nyala 5 is based on a completely new machine concept that also offers 23% more speed (now 253 m²/h, up from 206) with even greater precision. All good grounds for this large format printer to continue its successful course.
