Agfa, a global leader in imaging and printing solutions, today unveiled its enhanced and rebranded inkjet printer portfolio. Under the baseline ‘Powerful by Nature’, the printers have been imbued with a fresh identity, now sporting names of formidable animals that reflect their unique strengths. No fewer than three new inkjet printers are making their global debut at the FESPA Global Print Expo in Amsterdam this week (March 19-22).

The Nyala flatbed printer has led the European sales statistics for the past nine years. The latest model from swissQprint also makes its début in these statistics: Kudu takes third place.

It is this combination which generates such popularity. And confirmation comes from the market: for nine years in a row, the Nyala model has been the premier choice in the category ‘UV flatbed/hybrid printers >60” (152.4 cm) wide in the 130,000 – 650,000 EUR price segment’. The data comes from Geneva-based market research institute Infosource.
