ANTALIS helps support customers and charities with packaging and materials for PPE

Antalis has been proactively assisting both customers and charitable organisations at this critical time supplying much needed essential materials and packaging. Antalis provides products to the nation’s crucial industries and care services such as the NHS, local authorities, education, food retailers and pharmaceutical companies.

Antalis Packaging made a donation of 1000 boxes to the Help NHS Heroes ‘pop-up’ food centre at Lister Hospital in Stevenage for NHS staff. Antalis’ Bristol based team also helped Avonmouth Food Bank, who provide food parcels to the elderly and vulnerable, with a donation of pallets of corrugated boxes.
Antalis’ visual communications business has also provided various materials to help its clients to make vital PPE for the country’s NHS and care staff.
Lighthouse Display International POS Ltd, based in Nottingham, manufactures Point of Sale solutions directly into the retail market. Following many requests (care homes, retailers, food factory workers and NHS Trust Hospitals) they developed face visors using their in-house expertise and capability.
Annie Tighe, Managing Director of Lighthouse Display said: “We already had access to suitable material via Antalis and have the die cutting capacity and knowledge – so it made sense to switch business to the manufacture of this vital equipment. Antalis, as an existing supplier, was able to provide the right material quickly so we could start immediate production.”
The face visors are made from a range of gloss clear materials such as polyester and Staufen PVC to ensure maximum hygiene and a high degree of optimal clarity, making them suitable for all environments including healthcare. The visors are lightweight and easy to use, and provide effective protection to the face. “To date we have manufactured and sold 150,000 visors, 75,000 of which have gone directly to the NHS”, added Helen.
