As a more environmentally friendly alternative to conventional trays made of aluminium or with PE or silicone coating, THIMM has developed a menu tray for 100% safe direct food contact. The menu tray is even heat-resistant, so that food can be heated in the oven or microwave.
The corrugated cardboard menu tray is made of 100% virgin fibre paper and is produced under the highest hygienic conditions in a BRC / loP standard certified factory. The special paper foodWave® | heatproof ensures that the menu tray is greaseproof and heat-resistant. The menu tray is certified for baking for up to 180 minutes at 180 °C or up to 30 minutes at 220 °C. A further special feature of the menu tray is its seamless construction, so that the menu tray can also be used optimally for products containing fat and oil. A further advantage of our innovative menu tray is its easy handling. With only four "clicks" the menu tray can be erected and no further gluing is necessary. A lid ensures that the menu tray can be opened and closed again and again. The menu trays are delivered flat and thus space-saving. After the menu trays are erected, they can also be stacked inside each other. The size of the menu tray can be adjusted individually and thus the food menu tray offers a wide range of applications, for example for out-of-home delivery of food.
