Insulating cool box for food "WRAPandCOOL"

Innovation combines sustainability. The cool box with integrated insulation elements "WRAPandCOOL" for easy2cool is an e-commerce solution that enables the temperature-controlled shipping of chilled or frozen products in a sustainable shipping box. THIMM produces the corrugated cardboard box, which easy2cool sells including the insulation and cooling elements as an integrated insulation box.

In combination with the easy2cool insulating materials and cooling elements, the corrugated cardboard box meets essential requirements for a safe transport of temperature-sensitive products, for example for medical products or food. Along the entire shipping route, the corrugated cardboard insulation box guarantees effective insulation and constant cooling for temperature-sensitive products. With integrated insulating mats "paperfloc" and additional water-based cooling elements "easyAkku" from easy2cool, the cooling box guarantees the right intensity and duration of product cooling along the transport route. Dry ice also regulates the duration and intensity of the cooling of frozen products down to -18 degrees. The multi-part cool box for e-commerce offers reliable shipping of cooled products below 7 degrees or frozen products down to -18 degrees for up to 48 hours. For an appealing packaging design, the insulation box can be individually printed using the latest digital printing technology, enhancing the brand and unpacking experience. A special design feature of the insulation box is that the base and lid of the sustainable insulation box have the same construction, making it quick and easy to set up. With a high percentage of over 97%, the insulation box is made of paper and is therefore a more environmentally friendly alternative to insulation boxes made of polystyrene or plastic. The end customer can therefore simply dispose of the environmentally friendly insulation box in the waste paper.
