HANNOVER MESSE 2021: Analogue. Digital. hybrid.

When HANNNOVER MESSE opens its doors in April 2021, companies from all over the world will once again have the opportunity to bring their products to life at the world's most important industrial fair - analogue, digital and hybrid.

"Business needs trade fairs! This has been demonstrated in recent months. The industry longs for a platform to present innovations, expand networks, discuss economic policy challenges and win customers," says Dr. Jochen Köckler, Chairman of the Board of Management of Deutsche Messe AG. "This is what HANNOVER MESSE 2021 will offer. By linking the analogue and digital worlds and offering a comprehensive hygiene concept, the world's leading trade fair for industry will become the central platform for innovation and orientation in the age of industrial transformation".
HANNOVER MESSE offers all exhibitors the right package for their needs: from analogue stands and hybrid offerings to a purely virtual presence. Exhibitors decide how they want to be represented at a trade fair in times of the Corona pandemic. "In conversations with our exhibitors we often hear that above all the approaching of new customers is hardly possible without trade fairs. There needs to be a concrete date in the calendar where people come together, where innovations are bundled and orientation is offered," says Köckler. "This is the DNA of the HANNOVER MESSE brand and it will keep this promise in 2021: analogue, digital and hybrid.
For exhibitors and visitors who are unable to travel to the show, there are new points of contact in the digital space. For example, HANNOVER MESSE is setting up online streaming studios and working on hybrid offerings that bring together the exhibition hall and virtual space. Köckler: "The Digital Days at HANNOVER MESSE this year proved that we have digital know-how as well as our trade fair expertise.
As a platform for economic policy, HANNOVER MESSE continues to facilitate a close exchange between business, science and politics, thus making a significant contribution to industrial transformation - the key theme of the fair. In order to drive this process forward, decision-makers from business and politics will meet at the exhibition grounds or in one of the high-profile online conferences. Köckler: "The discourse between politics and business has never been more important than it is today. We will also develop the appropriate formats for this and bring together the best of the analogue and digital worlds".
