THIMM develops a sustainable POS concept for the Hamburg start-up Marmetube.

Time for new traditions - with this corporate vision, the three founders of the food start-up Marmetube launched their innovative jams from the tube onto the market. With success! In addition to seven standard varieties, the company from Hamburg also convinces with two limited special varieties of fruit spreads in summer and winter.

Brand communication and increased awareness through POS concept made of corrugated cardboard
The innovative jams from the tube have already been on the market since 2018. The idea of one of the co-founders of Marmetube, born out of a morning breakfast, also convinced the other two founding members. Easy application, no more butter leftovers in the jam jar and natural as well as sustainable ingredients are the guidelines for a successful fruit spread from the tube.
To support the increase of awareness and product sales, THIMM developed a holistic POS concept made of corrugated cardboard, which consists of a shipping package with integrated shelf packaging and seasonal displays. A customer-oriented solution that convinces. Thus, two fields of application can be covered with a packaging solution made of corrugated board: During shipping, the jams are protected from rough external influences and are stabilised by an additional corrugated board holder in the base. In retail, the upper part of the packaging can be separated by a perforation and thus be placed freely on the shelf or in the display to suit.
The displays made of corrugated board present themselves in seasonal design at the POS, whether in the colour red for the standard varieties, in purple for the limited summer flavours or in blue for the upcoming special varieties in winter. Thanks to the variability of the trays, two or three layers per display can be stacked individually, depending on the presentation of the variety and the sales volume.
