Letmeprint integrates Shutterstock API and offers its customers access to high-quality visual content and the graphic design tool Editor
Shutterstock, Inc. (NYSE: SSTK), a global technology leader and provider of a creative platform for high-quality content, tools and services, today announced the integration of its API technology into Letmeprint, its online printing facility. From now on, customers worldwide will have access to high-quality image material from the Shutterstock collection of over 300 million images. Within the Letmeprint platform, they also have access to the easy-to-use graphic design tool Editor as a white-label solution.
The solution, called "Let Me Print Editor", offers users direct inspiration and extensive image editing functions. This allows customers to easily design print projects exactly according to their ideas. This API partnership is the first to integrate a whitelabel version of the Shutterstock Editor in addition to Shutterstock's high-quality content and innovative search technology.
Creativity should not be held back by limited possibilities. This API integration offers Letmeprint customers more options than ever before when creating their print projects. The customer first configures the properties of his print product (size, material, finishing, etc.) and then goes to the graphic design tool. Here he can search for matching images in the Shutterstock collection, edit these as well as his own images and customize his product.
"The Shutterstock API exists to seamlessly integrate visual content and image-editing tools into the workflow of creative professionals - exactly the tools and platforms they already work with," says Alex Reynolds, general manager, Platform Solutions at Shutterstock. "We are pleased that Letmeprint has integrated our API into their new product. We will continue to focus on providing workflow solutions for all our customers in the future".
"Thanks to our partnership with Shutterstock, we can offer an unparalleled customer experience. Our customers have access to hundreds of millions of images for all their individual needs, as well as the image editing tools needed to create beautiful designs. So they can print anything they can imagine," says Wilfried Schopges, CEO of Letmeprint. "The large selection of high quality images combined with the services of our innovative online print shop results in an unbeatable offer for the individual needs of our customers".
In the next step, Shutterstock and Letmeprint will optimize the mobile product design workflow so that customers can create personalized print products on the go from their mobile phones.
