Contex Americas Receives IT Schedule 70 Contract from U.S. General Services Administration

Contex, the world's leader of wide format scanning and imaging solutions, today announces that it has been awarded an Information Technology Equipment Schedule 70 contract by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). Under the IT Schedule 70, Contex will be able to provide wide format scanning solutions to eligible resellers and federal, state and local government agencies via this IT procurement vehicle. Contex's full line of scanning and MFP solutions are available on the IT Schedule 70, which range from 24- to 54-inches wide.

Contex's GSA contract number is GS-35F-0393X.

Companies undergo a rigorous application process and diligent evaluation by the GSA to determine their suitability for providing products and/or services to the Federal government. Contex wide format scanning solutions are regarded by many as valuable for a variety of government uses, including in-the-field scanning of maps and large documents, scanning-to-share or archive, document management, and more.

"The GSA Schedule lets agencies cut down on administrative costs," comments Steve Blanken, General Manager, Contex Americas. "We are pleased to make our award-winning scanners available through the GSA for our existing and new government customers."

The Contex wide format scanning solutions are available on the government's online shopping system, GSA Advantage. Contex also supports partners and distributors that maintain their own GSA Schedules and government-contracting vehicles, including service disabled veterans and other disadvantage certifications recognized by federal buying guidelines.
