Xerox expands its cloud services portfolio to help CIOs more efficiently manage digital transformation

Virtual print and fleet management delivers cost-effective, secure and sustainable print services.

Xerox announced the expansion of its cloud services portfolio with the launch of Virtual Print Management Service and Workplace Cloud Fleet Management. These are two new offerings designed to successfully support and drive the digital transformation of its IT customers.
With Xerox Virtual Print Management Service, CIOs can quickly replace their costly, outdated, local print infrastructure with Xerox's modern and secure cloud-based infrastructure. The ease of implementation frees up internal IT resources to focus on other urgent digital transformation initiatives. In addition, IT organizations can save up to one-third of their typical print server expenses through this Software-as-a-Service model.
"CIOs are under tremendous pressure to drive smooth transformation to the cloud while ensuring seamless service at every step of the process," said Joanne Collins Smee, Chief Commercial, SMB and Channels Officer for Xerox. "But in reality, the transition to the cloud is often much slower and more complex than expected. Xerox Virtual Print gives CIOs an advantage in all the aspects that really matter: flexibility, cost, security and user experience.
With Xerox Workplace Cloud Fleet Management, Xerox delivers the benefits of cloudless infrastructure to SMBs, providing more security and less effort. Hackers are increasingly targeting financially weak small businesses that have limited IT resources. Xerox's fleet management solution provides security updates on demand for individual printers, up to an entire printer fleet. A simple dashboard allows customers to see security compliance at a glance.
"Two-thirds of Internet crime is targeted at SMEs," says Smee. "But unlike large corporations, these companies often have no means of preventing or mitigating such attacks. With Xerox Workplace Cloud Fleet Management, we are providing SMEs with the much-needed security benefits of the cloud.
Both offers offer comprehensive analyses. Xerox Virtual Print Management helps companies understand the printing behavior of users, enabling more cost-effective, secure and sustainable print jobs. Xerox Workplace Cloud Fleet Management provides SMBs with intuitive dashboards that provide proof of security policy compliance.
Availability
The printing solutions are now available for large enterprises in the countries served by Xerox. Sales through channel partners are planned for the end of the year. Channel partners will be able to offer Xerox Workplace Cloud Fleet Management to SMB customers early in the second quarter.
These two solutions expand Xerox's portfolio of flexible cloud services, enabling customers to choose from a variety of configurations to meet their specific needs. This includes XMPie content development, management and production, secure collaboration via DocuShare, translation services, scanning and more.
