DOXNET Baden-Baden Conference is cancelled

In a telephone conference of the DOXNET board of directors it was unanimously decided to cancel the 22nd DOXNET Conference & Exhibition, from May 11th to 13th, 2020 in Baden-Baden.

The reason for this is the "Ordinance of the state government of Baden-Wuerttemberg about infection protective measures against the spread of the virus SARS-Cov-2 (Corona Ordinance - CoronaVO) of 16.03.2020. Under paragraph 3 "Prohibition of meetings and other events" it is determined that these are prohibited from 100 participants and more.
DOXNET chairman Udo Schäfer: "The ban hits us hard, but it is right and important. We have agreed within the board of directors to cancel the annual conference and not to postpone it. The next date is therefore the 21.06.-23.06.2021. Of course we will refund all registered members, sponsors and exhibitors their deposits".
Association continues to stand on healthy feet
Despite the cancellation of various events this year, the association is financially secure. Udo Schäfer adds: "The current developments caused by the Corona crisis are very dynamic and are constantly changing. The association is in good shape despite all the changes in the general conditions and has a monetary cushion to continue its work for the next few months in a limited but future-proof manner".
