DocBridge FileCab: Home Office Software for the centralised mailing of office documents at home

Free trial version available for 60 days

Employees have to create and check documents at home in a quality-compliant manner and then transfer them to the company's computer centre? Do you want to ensure 100% compliance and at the same time increase productivity? With DocBridge® FileCab, Compart offers powerful home office software for collecting, checking, releasing and centrally sending documents created at the home office.
The software package is available as a free trial version at www.compart.com/de/homeoffice-software-download-docbridge-filecab-testversion.
The scalable and intuitively operated software solution for central dispatch on analog and digital channels contains an integrated quality check: Users in the specialist department can use it to check correspondence created at their workstation (PC, laptop) against various rules and regulations defined by the company (including compliance with corporate identity) before forwarding it to the central computer center. The check is performed immediately after creation in the relevant office application (for example, MS Word).
Depending on the company policy, the Document Desktop tool can also be used to establish an approval workflow ("four-eyes principle") before the documents go to print or digital dispatch. This significantly increases the overall process quality - regardless of whether the document creation is done remotely (home office, mobile) or directly on the PC in the office.
The use of DocBridge® FileCab helps companies to achieve significant cost savings: By embedding it in central processing, on-site printing is no longer necessary and postage discounts are better exploited (for example, by bundling documents into postage-optimised mailings). On average, costs can be reduced by 30 percent. In addition, there is greater efficiency in day-to-day business: clerks are relieved of non-subject related activities such as printing, inserting and franking and can therefore concentrate better on their core business.
HDI (Talanx): Productivity in case processing increased by 25 percent
With DocBridge® FileCab, Compart is reacting to an increased demand for home office tools. This was also the case at HDI (Talanx), where more than 90 percent of employees have been working from home since March of this year, due to the outbreak of Covid-19. Suddenly it was necessary to outsource processing from the office to colleagues' home offices "overnight". This also affected document creation and processing. As HDI (Talanx) had already been working very successfully with DocBridge® FileCab in the times before "Corona", they knew the possibilities of the Compart solution for "remote document management".
Within a week DocBridge® FileCab was "rolled out" to all company divisions and departments in Germany and since then around 1,000 employees have been working with the solution. They create their documents at home on a PC or laptop and send them to the central output management system (OMS) of the group. The benefit? No printing and no non-specialist activities in the home office, a 25 percent increase in productivity in case processing and the certainty that documents created at the home office also conform to the group-wide corporate identity.
Jürgen Hausl, Head of Output at HDI Systeme: "DocBridge® FileCab is very well received by colleagues, which is not least due to the simplicity of the software. Anyone who is familiar with Windows will immediately find their way around DocBridge® FileCab. We are happy to have such a solution and we think that even after the Corona crisis, remote document creation with DocBridge® FileCab will remain an integral part of our business and will be further expanded". Meanwhile, there is also a lot of interest in DocBridge® FileCab from foreign employees in the home office business, according to the manager.
Similar projects for the use of DocBridge® FileCab as home office software are currently running in Germany, France and Great Britain, amongst others.
