sPrint One is the AI-based solution developed by PerfectPattern to increase the efficiency of print businesses. The system automates print planning with the aim of making print processes more time, material and cost efficient.
According to Fabian Rüchardt, Managing Director of PerfectPattern, sPrint One has reached a level of maturity that allows the technology to be marketed in a new way: sPrintOne is now marketed exclusively through partners. Rüchardt further explains: "Existing and potential partners have repeatedly expressed a desire for individual sPrintOne features in order to differentiate the offering to their customers. The new marketing model makes this possible. At the same time, we are making the licensing model much more flexible towards our partners, right up to the purchase of the source code".
According to Rüchardt, this will give partners the desired flexibility to be able to offer their customers even better tailored products on the basis of sPrint One. On the other hand, with this step the partners also assume greater responsibility for the product individualised in this way - this refers in particular to the integration and support at the end customers.
sPrint One as a Technology Platform
sPrint One is thus made available to the industry as a platform. Rüchardt: "We simply stated that we have to give our partners more freedom - that we have to let sPrint One go a little bit. Partners and buyers can run sPrint One on their own servers. If required, the PerfectPattern team is available to them for contract development on the software's engine.
Existing customers will continue to be supported
In this new constellation, PerfectPattern will continue to operate a server running sPrint One in the cloud. Existing sPrint One users will continue to be supported by PerfectPattern via this system.
Enormous increase in efficiency, high savings
The AI specialists at PerfectPattern have developed sPrint One with the aim of fully automating print planning and the calculation of material and cost-optimised collective forms in offset and digital printing. At the touch of a button, the system calculates a complete print plan from an unfiltered pool of print-ready jobs in seconds - including sheet optimisation and gang formes. sPrint One takes care of scheduling and sheet assembly by taking into account all deadlines and available press capacities.
The technology is compatible with all digital and offset presses. It reduces waste (by up to 50%), plate consumption (by up to 40%) and increases print capacity (by up to 22%). At the same time it automates the prepress and planning processes.
