The website of software company CGS ORIS is now also available in Chinese. The new website of the color management and proofing specialist went online just in time for the "China Print" trade fair, which is taking place this week in Beijing.
"Now we can make information about our solutions and products even more easily accessible to our customers and potential customers here on site," says a delighted Lilly Xiao, General Sales Manager Greater China at CGS ORIS. "It's simply more pleasant when you can receive content - especially if it's rather technical - in your native language," continues Xiao.
Previously, the website was available in German and English and also linked to the Japanese distributor's site. "As the access numbers and the customer base from China are growing more and more, we wanted to offer even more service especially for them," Isabel Bracker, Communications Manager of CGS ORIS, summarizes the goals.
Shortly after going live, it is already apparent that the new site is being very well received. "From our point of view, this can be seen, for example, in the length of stay, but also in the amount of pages that are now being clicked and, of course, the contacts made," says Bracker.
Depending on the region from which the website is accessed, the respective language version opens. However, this can also be switched easily using the flag icons in the top right corner of the page.
"The implementation was not at all easy, as it was not at all easy for us here at headquarters to find our way around the translations," Bracker admits with a smile. "Luckily, we have our patient team in Asia and our agency, who provided wonderful support."
In addition to the website, the CGS ORIS Asia team is heavily active on social media. Here, more detailed local customer stories, technical reports or relevant net finds are shared.
