How does the MultiPress Connect App improve your workflow?
A simple example shows how such a networked prepress workflow works in practice. As soon as a customer approves a quote and submits their files online, a preflight profile is selected based on the job information. After the automatic preflight, the job status is updated and the customer receives a confirmation that his digital proof is available. Once approved by the client, MultiPress informs the Switch platform, whereupon the files are immediately processed towards production.
In addition, you can automate all possible optional steps in the workflow. For example, a job for which the files are available can be included directly in the planning to ensure on-time production. The required materials and paper stocks are reserved immediately and the files can be sent directly for imposition based on JDF. The big advantage: nowhere in this process is it necessary to enter or update information manually.
