Mimaki USA and Next Wave Media Solutions sign digital textile distribution agreement

Premier solution for digital textile printing using Mimaki printers and inks now available from Next Wave Media Solutions

Mimaki USA, a leading manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers and cutters, today announced that Next Wave Media Solutions (Buford, GA) has signed an agreement to distribute Mimaki JV Series, TS Series and TX Series printers with Mimaki Sb Series inks exclusively, as a premier solution for dye-sublimation printing.

Mimaki dye-sublimation inks have been optimized for use in Mimaki digital textile printers to deliver an increased gamut with deep, vibrant colors and excellent colorfastness. This matched system provides assurance that apparel, décor, soft signage and other textile creations will materialize as intended, reducing or eliminating the need for costly re-runs.

"We are pleased that Next Wave recognizes the unique pairing of Mimaki printers and inks as a premier offering for its digital textile customers," said Ken VanHorn, Director, Marketing and Business Development for Mimaki USA. "We look forward to working together to help Next Wave provide a total Mimaki digital textile printing solution."

"The combination of Mimaki inks and printers, plus the full backing of the manufacturer's warranty, gives us the ability to offer a complete system with a superior starting point," said Drew Fields, co-founder of Next Wave Media Solutions. "Mimaki inks and world-class printers can eliminate many of the issues printing facilities commonly face with third-party solutions."
