The ‘New & Next University Contest’ is a contest designed by Heimtextil to promote young professionals graduating from university and to establish a platform for tomorrow’s innovators.
With the ‘New & Next University Contest’ you have the opportunity to present your institution’s academic portfolio and the projects of your university’s graduating students to approximately 60,000 trade visitors from around the world and to representatives of the international trade press at Heimtextil, the leading international trade fair for home and contract textiles.
All national and international universities offering textile design or related studies are invited to submit their entries. To take part in the University Contest, all you need to do is register and submit three representative graduation works from your students on our online platform.
Winning universities will receive a free all-in stand in the ‘New & Next Area’ at Heimtextil 2021. The area will be located in the Textile Design segment in Hall 3.0 near to the Heimtextil Trend Space.
Participation is free of charge.
