SureColor SC-F100 is a compact and inexpensive sublimation solution for producers of advertising material
With the SureColor SC-F100, Epson is introducing a new dye-sublimation printer for smaller companies and start-ups that want to expand their product portfolio into the field of advertising media. On the footprint of a standard DIN A4 desktop printer, the SC-F100 prints high-quality advertising materials such as personalised mugs, key rings, telephone sleeves and much more. The SureColor SC-F100 will be available from December 2020 at qualified specialist dealers.
The new printer also meets the requirements of companies that want to delight their customers with tailor-made products such as scarves, aprons, lanyards or cushions. The SC-F100 reliably ensures fast turnaround times, enabling accurate production planning and low total cost of ownership (TCO). In addition, the device has been designed in such a way that its maintenance, servicing and operation can be carried out without any prior technical knowledge. The printer's ink tanks are refilled from 140 ml ink bottles. The SC-F100 is therefore a cost-effective alternative to traditional cartridge-based systems.
The SC-F100 is a further component in Epson's comprehensive product portfolio for service providers active in the field of advertising media. The components of each printer are developed and manufactured by Epson itself. This makes them the only systems available on the market in which all important printer components such as print head, inks, paper and software come from a single source. Thanks to a warranty of 12 months or up to 6,000 printed sheets, companies receive additional production security.
Frank Schenk, Head of Commercial & Industrial Printing at Epson Deutschland GmbH, explains: "Following the successful SC-F500, which we presented in 2019, the SC-F100 rounds off our range of dye-sublimation printers at the lower end. The new SureColor has been developed to enable companies to expand into the promotional products market without a large investment. Print jobs are sent to the device via USB, LAN or Wi-Fi. The new Epson Cloud Solution also supports the new printer. Users who are looking for a small format sublimation solution and need to keep an eye on their printing costs will find the SureColor SC-F100 a reliable, professional printing solution".
