Intech Digital 'Direct to Textile Printing' Solution

Traditional textile printing technologies, such as 'roller printing'; ' rotary or flat screen printing' comprise five processes: pattern design, plate/mould production, adjustment of colour tone, a pre-treatment solution, printing on the fabric and post-treatment.

Nowadays, whilst digital graphics has increasingly replaced the traditional printing techniques, complicated processes like pre-treatment, drying, fixing, post- treatment and washing of the fabric are still necessary.
Foshan Intech Digital now cooperates with Blackjet Inks, the world- renowned inkjet products manufacturer to launch the first and only solution for direct printing on cellulose-based fibres, such as cotton and linen, in China.
Inks for 'Direct to Textile Printing'
1. Nano-scaled pigments achieve unsurpassed tinting strength
2. Self-penetrating co-polymers combine intelligently with both natural and artificial
fibres; hence NO pre-treatment process is required. This 'one for all' inkjet solution,
suitable for all kinds of textiles, is a breakthrough from traditional 'direct to textile'
printing which needs a different type of dye for different fibres.
3. Unique, heat-fusion polymers 'glue' the nano-scaled pigment firmly to the fibre,
whilst at the same time, retaining the elasticity and softness of the fabric. They also
reduce the repeated washing process and its associated waste discharge.
4. Compliant with RoHS2 and the latest REACH, the demanding European
environmental and safety standards, all products are APEO-free.
High Speed, Roll-to-Roll, 'Direct to Textile' Printer
1. The variable drop, electro-piezo printhead, with a smallest ink droplet size of 3.5pL,
2. Dual channel, four colour mode gives a production rate of 40m2/hr.
3. The unique, tension-sensitive conveyor belt design ensures printing without
deformation.
4. Thermally controlled winding maintains the quality of printing.
5. State-of-the-art, inline Colour Management and Control Software calculates the ink consumption for each print run for better cost control.
