Lintec Europe joins CELAB-Europe

LINTEC EUROPE has joined CELAB-Europe – a recycling initiative which aims to achieve a circular economy for labels. CELAB-Europe is the European branch of CELAB, a wider, global, self-adhesive industry initiative which was launched, in October 2020, by FINAT, the European association for the self-adhesive labelling industry.

Ricoh listed in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index 2020

Ricoh has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World) 2020, one of the world's most prestigious indices of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) performance.
The DJSI, which is compiled by the US company S&P Dow Jones, is the first global sustainability index to assess a company's sustainability based on its economic, environmental and social performance. The procedure behind it is considered particularly stringent due to the number of questions and the depth of information required.

dvi: Packaging recycling is a success

The use of recycled materials and life cycle assessments are now the most important drivers and setting the course.

New low temperature spray cleaner from Zeller+Gmelin: Saving energy in power wash systems

Zeller+Gmelin has developed a new product for the surface cleaning of plastic parts: The Divinol Spray Cleaner KC 1362 achieves the required result already at room temperature and thus considerably reduces the energy consumption in so-called power wash systems. Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s Circulytics tool reveals UPM Raflatac has taken extensive action in the circular economy

Global pressure sensitive label manufacturer UPM Raflatac has worked hard to embrace the circular economy and sought a way to measure performance. The company tested the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s Circulytics tool and received an overall score of B, indicating that UPM Raflatac has made great strides in enabling circularity, but still has work to do in measuring output as a supplier in the packaging value chain.
