Ricoh Recognizes ETS with New World of Work Award

Educational Testing Service (ETS), the world's leading non-profit assessment and research organization, has been recognized by Ricoh, a global technology company, for embracing change and innovation in its managed service program for networked print, copy and scanning needs.

Ricoh created its New World of Work Award to formally spotlight customers who utilize its technology, resources and service offerings in an innovative way to help achieve their business goals, while reinforcing to all employees what innovation, excellence and information mobility looks like. ETS was selected from among 100 organizations up for the award. It was presented to ETS President and CEO Walt MacDonald by Martin Brodigan, Chairman and CEO, Ricoh Americas Corporation, at ceremonies on the ETS campus.
ETS partnered with Ricoh USA to create and implement a print optimization program that is designed to improve document security, reduce the number of print/copy devices from 608 to 395 across the organization, reduce printing costs for consumables and paper and reduce energy costs. Ricoh also provides a dedicated onsite support person to oversee the maintenance and service needs of the Ricoh devices as well as track, analyze and manage the print activity across the organization.

"We are honored to receive this award," said Walt MacDonald, ETS President and CEO. "Through the hard work and dedication of our staff working with Ricoh representatives, we are better optimizing our printing practices, and more importantly, will realize a cost savings of $430,000 for 2015."

"Congratulations to ETS for this well-deserved recognition," said Martin Brodigan, Chairman and CEO, Ricoh Americas Corporation. "At Ricoh, we're focused on workstyle innovation and helping organizations to enhance their flow of information in today's dynamic environment. ETS has demonstrated this by reducing costs and improving efficiencies through their use of our managed print services, print optimization program, secured print authentication and 'follow-you' printing capabilities, to name a few."
