In the future, painters will have the option of purchasing the "MultiCloud openHandwerk" craftsman software from PPG Industries Inc. PPG - known in Germany through the brands SIGMA Coatings and GORI - is the new partner of openHandwerk GmbH.
The "MultiCloud openHandwerk" is a "Software-as-a-Service" solution for the digitalization of processes in the trade and construction industry. It enables order management, project planning, documentation and the complete accounting of a company to be organised in a cloud software without data breaks and with free interfaces. Data on the products of SIGMA Coatings and GORI with the corresponding service texts are already stored in the software for PPG customers. The PPG field service provides digital advice on bills of quantities using the craftsman software and supports the processing of these bills of quantities.
Share data and act faster
To speed up the bidding process, painters can share data on a specific construction project with their PPG field service consultant and then share it. The working method and user interface of openHandwerk was specially adapted to the painter's needs. Especially for the painting trade, openHandwerk offers numerous functions in the craftsman software. These include, for example, measurement, work certificates, acceptance and measurement reports, construction diaries, individualised forms and digital signatures per app. Furthermore, the app can be used to document construction sites by photo as well as defects or to use the integrated chat. Working times of employees are entered digitally by input or start/stop for payroll accounting and can also be booked into projects and employees can be scheduled. In the area of accounting, openHandwerk has a position breakdown, accumulated partial and advance invoices, serial invoices, security retentions, GAEB, IDS-Connect, Datanorm and §13b construction services.
