LG is following the developments in connection with the coronavirus outbreak extremely closely. The virus has recently been upgraded to a global emergency by the World Health Organization (WHO) as it is spreading outside China.
LG Electronics has decided not to participate in the Mobile World Congress 2020 in Barcelona, Spain, later this month. With a view to the safety of its employees and the public, the company is following the recommendation of many health experts to refrain from unnecessary international travel at the moment.
Instead of participating in the MWC, LG is planning several separate events in the near future at which the company will present its mobile innovations for 2020.
