Board International, the leading software provider of an all-in-one platform that integrates business intelligence, performance management and advanced analytics, has released the latest version of its Board decision-making platform: Board 11.2 offers a number of new and improved capabilities.
With its integrated approach to reporting, planning and forecasting, Board has always made these processes very effective, but now the platform is even faster and more flexible. One of the most significant improvements in the new version is the "DeepLocker" feature, which allows users to lock values at the cell level or aggregated level along any hierarchy or dimension. This gives users greater control over which numbers are affected by changes in drivers or values during planning and simulation activities.
The innovative WAVE database, which has been the basis of the board platform since the release of Board 11, has also seen some improvements. The revised version management of cubes and the increase in performance and functionality will give Boards a head start in data processing.

"The WAVE database can process enormous volumes of information in a much shorter time than conventional solutions.
