TÜV SÜD and Cofense join forces to help companies defend themselves against phishing

TÜV SÜD, the independent expert for cyber security, risk awareness and data protection, is now a partner in the Cofense® Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) program. Together, the two companies will offer state-of-the-art anti-phishing services for organizations.

Cofense is the only anti-phishing solution that actively counters phishing attacks by harnessing the power of human intelligence and intuition. This partnership provides TÜV SÜD with the right tools to help its customers defend against phishing attacks - the main cause of security breaches. Cofense's key MSSP services include Cofense PhishMe™, which was developed to increase security awareness and employee behavior. These employees are familiarized with real phishing attack scenarios.

Fight against phishing simply and effectively
The partnership will now bring together Cofense's expertise in phishing attacks and TÜV SÜD's expertise in risk awareness, data protection and IT security as a whole.

"We are pleased to work with TÜV SÜD as part of an outstanding group of service providers that continuously provide companies with the resources they need to defeat phishing attacks worldwide," said Robert Iannicello, VP Global MSSP Programs & Business Development at Cofense. "Together, we are enabling users to prevent suspicious
to report e-mails in your inbox immediately. This gives companies a clear advantage in defending themselves against ongoing phishing attacks.

"With Cofense as our partner, we can offer our customers the best possible protection against phishing", explains Stefan Vollmer, CTO of TÜV SÜD Sec-IT, at the start of the new partnership. "Since most attacks by cyber criminals begin with an attempted phishing attack, employees and organizations must have the right tools to report these attempts in a timely manner. Together we will make this possible - easily and conveniently."
