Comau, a world leader in the development of advanced systems and products for the industrial automation sector, has entered into a multi-year partnership with Tecnomatic, an Italian automation supplier specialized in advanced Hairpin Stator technologies. The incorporation of Tecnomatic's expertise and patented Hairpin technology - from prototype co-design and development to stator slot insulation and the forming, twisting and welding of hairpins - into Comau's comprehensive electrification portfolio enables a complete offering that includes rotor, stator, converter, gear assembly and testing. This partnership underlines Coma's commitment to innovative solutions that enable its customers to respond to new market needs throughout the entire life cycle, including long-term support for the production system.
By combining their respective strengths, the companies offer their customers a double benefit: not only a single source for fully integrated electric motor and gear assembly solutions, but also access to an engineering approach that meets both current and future production needs. The jointly developed systems are modular, scalable, cost-effective and digital.
