Servparc 2021 takes place from 30.06. - 01.07. and for the first time enables experts with the "Call4Content" to proactively apply for a specialist lecture on one of the core topics of the event.
Already eight months before the hotspot for facility management, industrial services and IT solutions opens its doors again, work is being done behind the scenes to prepare the lecture programme. As in the last two years, participants and experts were asked about what they consider to be the most important industry topics, thus actively involving the community in the content of the event.
Once again, the topic "digitisation" (83%) was mentioned most frequently, followed by "sustainability, energy and environment" (62%) and "new ways of working" (52%). These will thus be the core topics of Servparc 2021, flanked by contributions on operator responsibility, crisis management, corporate governance and other topics at the interface to facility management.
As in the last two years, the Servparc Stage Programme will consist of contributions by invited speakers and presentations by exhibiting companies. A new feature is the "Call4Content", which offers additional industry experts the opportunity to apply for a cost-neutral lecture slot with their proposed topic by 02.12.2020. After the submission deadline, the proposals received will be evaluated by an 8-member programme committee and the most promising abstracts will be selected for the Stage Programme. This will ensure an even greater range and depth of content in the specialist topics.
Another innovation this year is the "Insights". These are short events that examine individual topics from the field of facility management in detail. Initially in digital form, the series of events starts on 01.12.2020 with the "CAFM Insights". The programme includes two best practice lectures by renowned experts, followed by an exchange between speakers and participants. With this initiative, organiser Mesago offers the Servparc community a platform to deepen their own expertise and make new contacts outside the main event.
