Seamless Data Delivery and Secure Networks for Industrial Digitalization

Belden Inc. (NYSE: BDC), a global leader in network infrastructure and digitalization solutions, is highlighting its latest portfolio of products and partnerships at this year’s Hannover Trade Fair in Germany, 22-26 April.

As a partner of Deutsche Messe AG, Belden’s leading solutions and services are on display in several key locations within the exhibition – the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Booth, the Industrial Security Circus, SPE Industrial Partner Network section and the PI International Booth.

Partnerships and strategic relationships are crucial to how Belden works to give customers end-to-end solutions designed to bring together complementary technologies for solving complex customer challenges.

Belden Horizon at AWS: Hall 15, Booth D76

Together with AWS, Belden is showcasing its expanded network and data capabilities through the Belden Horizon platform, a comprehensive hardware, software and services platform that works seamlessly with AWS Industrial IoT services, like AWS IoT Sitewise. Belden Horizon helps enable customers to shorten time-to-value for their industrial data solutions, overcoming data interoperability and integration challenges. It also empowers them to centrally manage and monitor networking and edge infrastructure and applications.

A cross-functional team of production, maintenance, IT/OT network, and digitalization experts are demonstrating how Belden digitalized five manufacturing facilities globally, one of them a 95-year-old manufacturing plant. Timing: Monday 22 April, 13h30 and Wednesday 24 April, 15h30 at Hall 15 Booth D76.

Industrial Security Circus: Hall 16, Stand A12 (04)

At this year’s special "Industrial Security Circus", Belden’s comprehensive portfolio of industrial cyber security products is providing trade show visitors with insights into the latest security solutions that protect against events that threaten the security, quality and productivity of mission-critical IT and OT systems. These include Data Diodes, Firewalls, Hirschmann’s Industrial HiVision, PROVIZE Suite, macmon NAC, and Horizon Data Operations & Data Manager.

SPE in the Spotlight

As a premium member of the SPE Industrial Partner Network, Belden is also demonstrating several customer use cases at the following locations:

Sensor Brownfield Integration demo with use of SPE Switch (BEETLE), Gateway (SPE to IO-Link Master), cable and connector in specific applications.
Use case on retrofitting with SPE while reusing the existing cable infrastructure for new applications.

At PROFIBUS & PROFINET International Booth: Hall 9, D68

A demonstration of SPE Bridges supporting End-Devices with SPoE, together with manual power, that enhances an existing IEEE PoDL state machine. This will enable the use of APL devices in non-hazardous areas and boost SPE adoption in the process automation industry. Belden is the first vendor supporting this new feature.
