ParStream and PLAT.ONE partner to bring distributed analytics to the Industrial Internet of Things

ParStream, the IoT analytics company, and PLAT.ONE, the first Enterprise-Grade IoT & M2M application platform, today announced its joint demo at the Internet of Things World Forum, a leading Internet of Things (IoT) conference focused on IoT applications, IoT solutions and the leading companies behind the IoT movement. The Internet of Things World Forum will be held Nov. 25-26, 2014, at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington in London.

The joint demonstration is the first to utilize Fog Computing; specifically demonstrating the real time integration of PLAT.ONE's IoT platform publishing real time sensor measurements from managed devices with the ParStream database. The ParStream database powers analytics on a Datawatch analytics dashboard to monitor real time variations in sensor metrics and conduct rapid analysis of historical sensor data. The ParStream platform also includes Geo-Distributed Analytics bringing the power of analytics closer to the source of data. Fog computing addresses various applications and services beyond the Cloud including fast mobile applications, geographically distributed applications and large-scale distributed control systems.
