The leading ICT show in Eurasia brought this year three major events together. CeBIT Bilişim Eurasia, CeBIT Global Conference and CeBIT Synergy Summit were held at Yeşilköy/Istanbul.
CeBIT Bilişim Eurasia sharpened its B2B profile as it promoted cooperation between companies, governmental organizations and other multipliers from targeted industries. It offered a highly international meeting venue as the region's unique event, attracting decision makers from Turkey, the Middle East, Africa and CIS countries. This year's show included 1023 exhibitors and brand names from 18 different countries and attracted a total of 131.358 visitors from 93 countries.
The 3 events hosted the Minister of Maritime, Communications and Transportation, Mr. Binali Yıldırım, the Turkish Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator, Mr. Egemen Bağış, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Suat Kılıç, the Minister of Public Works and Transportation of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Mr. Ahmet Kaşif, the Minister of Administration and Digitization of Republic of Poland, Mrs. Malgorzata Olszewska, the Minister of Communications and Information Technologies of The Autonomous Republic of Nahcivan, Mr. Rövşen Mammadov, the Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Iltimas Mammadov, the Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communication of Bulgaria, Mr. Georgi Todorov and the Deputy Minister of Economy and Energy of Bulgaria, Mr. Yunal Tasim during the organization.
The General Manager of HIFAŞ, Mr. Alexander Kühnel stated that Turkey is a major hub for the ICT industry: "this year, we organized CeBIT Bilişim Eurasia for the 14th time. For a successful show, we're always scanning the market, together with associations and partners to conquer the needs of exhibitors and visitors. As a result of that research we organized CeBIT Global Conference this year for the first time. We internationalized our conference program with the CeBIT Global Conference and this is a major step for the future."
CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia; the most important ICT fair in Eurasia!
This year, CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia was supported by many international governmental organizations. Besides private-sector participation; the governments of Bulgaria, Canada, China, Denmark, Germany, Poland, South Korea, Taiwan and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus supported the companies of their countries to participating at the event.
Mr. Kalinowski Przemyslaw from Ministry of Administration and Digitization of Poland stated: "the trade show is a very good place for self presentation of polish companies, which want to establish cooperation with companies from Asia. A good idea is the possibility of arranging matchmaking meetings at CeBIT Bilişim Eurasia. Poland can present itself as a country of modern technologies and encourage the visitors to invest in Poland."
International Senior-Level Keynote Speakers with hot topics attended CeBIT Global Conference!
Organized for the first time in Istanbul, the CeBIT Global Conference brought famous IT industry personalities under one roof to discuss the challenges and opportunities of the ICT sector.
The support from BITKOM the leading European ICT association; and Deutsche Messe AG Germany provided a new dimension to this year's conference. Amongst the keynote speakers at the CeBIT Global Conference were: Google Engineering Director, Jeremy Doig; Scout 24 Group's CEO, Dr. Martin Enderle and Prof. Şahin Albayrak from Technical University of Berlin. The majority of the three-day event, which included seminars, conferences and panels, broadcasted live at tvcebitbilisim.com worldwide. CeBIT Synergy Summit: The annual meeting of professionals to discuss and direct ways to be followed in the future!
The General Manager at Semor A.Ş., Mr. Nezih Kuleyin commented that the CeBIT Synergy Summit has taken a qualitative leap this year by holding the CeBIT Global Conference in conjunction with the CeBIT Synergy Summit. "Last year we held a national conference. This year we have boosted this event's international dimension."
CeBIT Synergy Summit pushed the Fatih Education Project. The Minister of Maritime, Communications and Transportation, Mr. Binali Yıldırım highlighted the importance of the Fatih Education Project for Turkey's future during his visit at CeBIT Bilişim Eurasia.
