Company Achieves Top Ranking on "PV Module Reliability Scorecard" in Four Testing Categories
ReneSola Ltd ("ReneSola" or the "Company") (NYSE: SOL), a leading brand and technology provider of solar photovoltaic ("PV") products, today announced the Company's industry-leading results in a series of reliability tests conducted by PV Evolution Labs ("PVEL"). The Company's modules achieved top performance rankings on PVEL's "PV Module Reliability Scorecard" for 2014 in four testing categories: Dynamic Mechanical Load, Damp Heat, Potential Induced Degradation, and Humidity-Freeze.
PVEL uses highly accelerated life testing (HALT) to provide supplier-specific performance analysis and identify modules that can deliver energy yields to meet a project's full-life expectations in a variety of climate conditions. More than ten companies participated in the testing in different categories.
