Trina Solar Limited (NYSE: TSL) ("Trina Solar" or the "Company"), a global leader in photovoltaic (PV) modules, solutions and services, today announced that its State Key Laboratory of PV Science and Technology has developed a new high-efficiency Honey Ultra solar module.

Trina Solar's Honey Ultra monocrystalline silicon module reached a new record of 326.3W, which has been independently certified by TUV Rheinland, a leading authoritative certification institution. This result sets a new world record for p-type monocrystalline silicon modules. The monocrystalline silicon module is composed of 60 high-efficiency Honey Ultra monocrystalline silicon cells of 156mm x 156mm, fabricated with a technology developed by Trina Solar and currently in pilot production.

JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. ("JinkoSolar" or the "Company") (NYSE: JKS), a global leader in the solar PV industry, today announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with PROINSO India.

According to the terms of the agreement, PROINSO will begin distributing JinkoSolar solar PV modules through its extensive sales network in India. PROINSO will make use of its Mumbai office, experienced professionals who staff it, and 125 qualified installers who form part of its network in India.

TSMC Solar announced today that its high-efficiency CIGS modules have received official certification under the MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme), issued by TUV SUD BABT. Both the C1 and C2 modules of the TS CIGS series were awarded the certification, which is an internationally recognized quality assurance scheme, and a requirement for eligibility for the UK government's financial incentives.

Today, Scatec Solar, the global independent solar power producer, received the final approvals necessary to proceed with the building of an 80 MW (ac) PV (photovoltaic) solar plant in Iron County, Utah. The Utah Red Hills Renewable Energy Park, set to be built on a site with excellent solar irradiation, will generate around 210 million kilowatt hours (kWh) of electricity per year, which will be fed into the grid under a twenty-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with PacifiCorp.

Korea Based Shinsung Solar Energy to Supply SunEdison with High-Efficiency Solar Cells Through 2016

SunEdison (NYSE: SUNE), a leading solar technology developer and provider of solar energy services announced today that it has signed an agreement with Shinsung Solar Energy.

JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. ("JinkoSolar" or the "Company") (NYSE: JKS), a global leader in the solar PV industry, today announced that it has entered into RMB214.4 million (approximately US$ 39 million) loan agreement with China Development Bank ("CDB") to finance two PV solar projects in Xinjiang and Gansu Provinces.

According to the terms of the agreements, CDB's Xinjiang Branch will provide a 18-year loan totaling RMB141.4 million to finance JinkoSolar's 20MW project located in Alaer, Xinjiang Province while the Gansu Branch will provide a 15-year loan totaling RMB100 million to finance JinkoSolar's 15MW project located in Jinchang, Gansu Province. The two projects were connected to the grid at the end of 2013.

PSEG Long Island announces the results of the Clean Solar Initiative II
