Successful Meetup on the topic "Smart City

Hawa Dawa, a Munich-based company specialising in air quality management, held its first "Smart City" Meetup at the end of January. With interesting presentations and a high-ranking guest speaker from the Fraunhofer Morgenstadt Initiative, the event attracted a broad audience: Hawa Dawa was able to welcome representatives of Smart City solution providers, local authority representatives and numerous interested citizens.

The aim of the event was to illuminate the area of "Smart City" from different perspectives and provide a space for the exchange of ideas and experiences. The focus was on "Smart City and air quality - framework conditions, effects and trends" and "Artificial intelligence and machine learning - functionality, applications and possibilities". In his keynote lecture "Smart City - in the field of tension between technical possibilities and the requirements of local authorities", Dr. Alanus von Radecki from the Fraunhofer Morgenstadt Initiative showed a large number of exciting examples and provided food for thought. At the end of the presentations, the audience took an active part in the discussion with the Hawa Dawa experts and the guest speaker.
Karim Tarraf, Managing Director and co-founder of Hawa Dawa, confirmed: "We are very satisfied with the broad audience that followed the event with great interest. And we feel confirmed by the interest in the topic "Smart City" and the contribution to sustainability and a healthy environment".
